It’s that time of year again. Today, I’ll discuss taxes. Right now, you’re probably gathering all your paperwork and double checking you have everything.
While you’re doing this, it’s important to have a checklist to ensure you have everything you need. That way, your accountant can analyze all of it and make sure that you get all the deductions you can.
If something changed in your financial history in the last year, your accountant will be able to discuss a strategy with you. Again, they can only do this if you have all of the right paperwork.
You can get our checklist here. All of our clients use this checklist, and we use it ourselves to make sure everything is in order. Now, this checklist applies to things that have already happened. If something doesn’t apply to you, don’t worry about it.
If you have future plans to buy a home or make a big investment, you should mention your plans to whoever does your taxes.
If you have any questions, just give me a call or send me an email. I would be happy to help you!
